Use Some Metal at Less is more

Hi Again
My 2nd post of the day and I'm enjoying a lazy day just getting crafty. I have been finishing things off, some DT pieces, but have also made a piece to join in with this weeks challenge over at
The theme over there this week is "Use some Metal" my metal is the bird charm that I have added to my C&S card.

I have used a wooden stamp that I bought from Facebook, no idea what it's called but it is by Catslife Press. I have stamped it in Potting Shed Archival ink onto an ATC sized piece of watercolour card that I coloured by adding distress inks to an acrylic block and misting with water before pressing it onto the paper.
Other stamp is from Tim Holtz "Simple Sayings"
Hope you like it and thanks for stopping by
Love

  1. I DO like it Amanda. A LOT. It really speaks to me. I am always telling folks "grow where you are planted. And the reason I really like what you have done is because your trees aren't beautiful but they look strong and tall. So what that says to me is that we don't always have to "bloom" or even fit where we are planted until the "season" is right. We just have to "grow" and stand tall and strong as possible. REALLY a FABULOUS creations. j.

  14. Deep sigh of content looking at this... it is completely perfect. The colours, the bare botanical tree branches, the subtle smoky effect of the ink, the tiny touch of metal, the wide white frame giving it all space to breathe... magical.
